Neon Lights

The city is alive, the city is expanding;
living in the city can be demanding.

Everybody who has ever visited the Namba/Shinsaibashi area at night has taken these pictures, but I figured I should also join the ranks. My legs were sore when I took these. I'd had the bright idea to try and take a dance class, despite the undisputed fact that I was born with two left feet and have the natural balance and coordination of a drunk giraffe. I was walking towards Namba afterwards, feeling a bit down and unsure of myself, when I suddenly remembered that I'd made this crazy promise to myself to try and take at least one photo every day this year. These aren't particularly good, nor are they particularly inspired, but they're reminiscent of my mood.

At least I can always say I tried!
